When I was 16 years old I carried a portable radio on my shoulder and listened to DooWop. Great music and great times.

Hi. I'm 50. I heard for the first time that kind of music in the movie Back to the Future in 1985, when I was 13 years old. Since that moment, I love it. Saludos desde Rosario, Argentina.

Went to a DooWop show just last evening, here in Cerritos CA. The music of our teens. Brought back the greatest memories. Love Love Love the Music and all the dances I had to it.

I am 80 and became hooked on this music in 1954. Sang with buddies wherever we wanted. Played music in high school and a pop band before enlisting in Army 1960. Did a stint as a DJ in a hospital in Germany (HRBS - Frankfurt) Down Memory Lane. This music will never grow old (unlike me). Thanks, Robert.

As a teenager, I used to listen to Cousin Brucie (Morrow) in Chicago on a 3-foot tall old-fashioned radio that could pick up stations all over the world. I even wrote him once and he announced my name at about 1:00 a.m. EST. His program was great. he is now 85 years old and still working as a radio announcer.

I had an internet radio show in about 2002-4. Once a month I played only Doo Wop. Most of my audience had never heard of this music, but they loved it!

I just turned 73 but still very young at heart. Thank you for this music - always reminds me of when I sang acapella in the hallway with my group. Forever young and DOO WOP LIVES!

I INTRODUCED THIS MUSIC TO MY GRANDSON AND HE LIKES IT...ALL THE CHILDREN OF THIS GENERATION NEEDS TO LISTEN TO THIS MUSIC AND BE TAUGHT HOW TO HAND DANCE, AND TEACH THEM THE VALUE OF RESPECT AND TRUE LOVE IS PATIENT, KIND, GENTLE, AND WISH ONLY GOOD FOR THE SELF AND THE OTHER PERSON....AGAIN TRUE LOVE RESPECTS AND IS VERY PATIENT AND KIND, IT WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN....TAKE YOUR TIME TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS AND DREAMS ETC...AND TRUE LOVE ALWAYS FORGIVES ...

I’m going on 80 in a few months and I listen to doo wop as often as I can especially at night. This music they sing today isn’t even close to the fifties music. I love it and brings back happy memories and great love for all of us that lived in that era. Wouldn’t change anything now except just go back to then and I do by listening when I can.
Love to Doo Wop forever.

Danced to a lot of this music with my wife of 61 years in my arms. Can't hardly believe how the years have passed; seems like yesterday. I wish they still made music like this.
