Here's a behind-the-scenes look at our artists performing the airbrushing step on a Petsies Forevers bulldog plush. Creating custom plush doppelgangers of real pets takes many hours of highly skilled labor and we are super proud of our design team. We hope you appreciate their unique talent, too!
These custom plush lookalikes are awesome for celebrating a current furry friend or honoring a past companion. They also make the perfect gift for any pet lover!

-Our airbrushing artists must apprentice for 3-4 months to learn the painting techniques.
-They must master color mixing, consistent flow rates, and strokes.
-Airbrushing can take several hours so we'll speed it up for you.
-Airbrushing the face is especially difficult and detailed.
-The work is similar to make-up artists in Hollywood!
-With the eyes and mouth area complete, we can begin working on the remainder of the pet.
-We often apply inks in layers to achieve the undercoat color effect.
-Each pass of the airbrush adds a little extra detail.
-Remember: Airbrushing is just the last step in making a custom plush lookalike of your pet.
-First we study your pet and must hand-make the plush and body.
-That includes design, cutting, sewing, and stuffing... All by hand!
-We do our best to capture all of your pet's unique features.
-After all, we are all crazy pet parents, too!
-Can't forget the toes!
-After all that work, each Petsies Plush goes through 2 Quality Inspection steps.
-The majority of Petsies get reworked several times until we are proud to ship them to our customers.
-In this case, our QC team noted the ears should be folded down.
-So... one final touch...
-Perfection!

I recently received my Petsie of my beagle, Napoleon Picklemeister, and I LOVE him! I went all out and ordered the extra special blue collar with his named spelled out in crystals. He is so perfect and amazing! I've been meaning to write to you guys there at the company to thank you and let you know how happy I am, but I fell and broke my leg, my fibula, nearly broke it into two pieces, so I've been down, depressed, and down and out, my luck runneth out, hahaha, my motivation level is practically nill. But I love my Petsie-- you did a fantastic job! I wish I could post a photo-- ohh, I can do that on Facebook maybe! Thank you!!

What kind of ink are you using And does it fade or smudge over time? Will the ink hold up after being washed?

I hope I can one day get one of these of my dog Marley he is no longer with me though he does when I was very young but I still remember him and am crying writing this. He died when he was 2. He got bit by a rattle snake. Since then I have hated snakes and gotten 4 more dogs but none of them are like him. I miss my little buddy.😭😭😭😭😢😢😢

I’m saving up for one for my dad, he used to have a black German shepherd called Ozzie and we all loved Ozzie even my staffy that hates other dogs loved him, Ozzie was put down on the 5th of January (5 days before my 10th birthday) 2016 because he was attacked by 2 Bull mastiffs outside our house and unfortunately left with extremely bad bites and internal bleeding afterward, he was such an amazing dog and he was so caring and loving, he used to walk me and my sister to our room at night and he slept on his bed that was in between mine and my parents room every night, I’d give anything to have him back as he really was such a great dog!! R.I.P Ozzie, I miss u loads and always think about u!!!



Even Marley and Titan miss u, (Marley:Dog hating staffy) and Titan (Husky). Btw Marley and Titan are super friendly with each other and they were super friendly with Ozzie but they aren’t too good around other dogs!
