Ranking All 7 Giga Coasters in the World

A 'giga' is a roller coaster that has a height or drop between 300 feet and 399 feet. As of 2020, there are only 7 of these in the world. I've had the fortunate opportunity of riding all of them. Today, I'll be ranking them from my least favorite, to my very favorite!

I've been lucky enough to have ridden all of them as well. I'd rate them:

1) Fury 325
2) Millennium Force
3) Intimidator 305
4) Orion
5) Leviathan
6) Steel Dragon 2000
7) Red Force

*8) Superman Escape from Krypton (I count it based on the drop)

Millennium Force is my favorite Giga roller coaster simply because it’s the only Giga I’ve ever ridden. 😁

I rode Orion twenty times today, and I never once grayed out on Orion’s Belt. That being said, Orion is actually my favorite giga. I haven’t ridden Red Force or Steel Dragon, but I just love Orion so much. It’s the fact that it’s so picturesque and so rerideable (hence the twenty rides). It was so smooth and fast that I felt like I was flying. Plus the themeing was pretty awesome! I know it may sound crazy, but Orion is my favorite giga coaster.

it’s weird you That you put Orion ahead of Leviathan even though you gave Leviathan a 9 out of 10 and Orion 8 out of 10 in the reviews

I've only ridden Red Force out of this list, but it was amazing! Even though Furius Baco has a better launch, and I prefer Shambhala as a whole ride at the same resort, I could really enjoy Red Force for the ride it is. Not too complicated, huge thrills.

I rode Intimidator 305 a couple weeks after it opened, so before the first turn was widened, and the grey out took my breath away. Easily my second favorite roller coaster ever (#1 is El Toro).

You're spot on with Millennium Force! I really wasn't expecting much at all with all the bed press it receives, but I loved it and would happily say that I preferred it over Steel Vengeance 😆

Carowinds is my home park and I’m so glad it’s my home park because of fury 325 cause when it’s scarowinds (Halloween) on Sunday’s there’s no line for fury so I rerun it so many times❤️

I hope a ranking list of the US’s B&M hypers is next after you’ve ridden Candymonium! I’d also like to see a Candymonium vs Orion!

Leviathan is very fun and it is my favourite ride at my home park, Canada’s Wonderland. Remember that Leviathan was the first B&M giga and they used the results from Leviathan to help make fury better when they built it. If it weren’t for Leviathan, Fury would not have turned out nearly as well as it did. I think Leviathan deserves some extra points for this and maybe should be ranked 5th and Orion ranked 6th or something but idk it’s your list.
