Fastest way to remove instrument panel needles

How do I remove the needles from the instrument cluster? This is how on an electronic instrument cluster / digital instrument panel / digital dash including the gauges such as a speedometer, tachometer, odometer and fuel gauge, and other indicators on an automobile. Remember to mark the position of the needles before removal (if appropriate).

This works on SOME gauges. It will ruin others... be very careful.

Okay, I did this and now my needles are off.

Don't try this on some Nissan 1990s clusters I just ruined mine

When you put the needles back on. Do not push them in too far....

Lol try this on a crx cluster with temp and gas needles you’ll pull the whole pole out of the back sencer

Dont do this on honda clusters it will ruin the calibration. I ruined my cluster because i did this. My fuel and temperature needle pulled out the whole shaft . Even the speedo is out of calibration even if i zeroed the needle back to where it was. It reading 10kph ahead of what it should be
