I know most prefer the 2005 helicopter Sunday over this one but this has always been my favourite one as I felt more like we had won the league that year against a (hate to admit it) fantastic celtic side rather than them throwing it away. Will never forget sitting with all my mates with the two TV's on watching our game on the big telly and their game on the wee telly at the same time. Was a few hairy moments, with the best being hilariously hairy (Their penalty miss) and the short time, which felt like forever, when they were actually winning the league and lastly Arteta's penalty which finally made us all know that we were going to definitely win it being the three that immediately come to mind when thinking about the actual match. Was the last top side we had that could take it to the top sides in Europe until probably this side we have at the moment. Probably underachieved in Europe considering the talent we had in that squad whereas Walters 2008 team punched well above their weight with being the only team to leave Old Trafford with a clean sheet out of every team who went there that season, Alan McGregor's save, Whittaker's goal and finally Novo's penalty against Fiorentina being the memory's that come immediately to mind when thinking back to that season. What a ride it's been through the last three decades and the first year of this decade being a Rangers supporter. And what a privilege it is to say that my local team is the most successful team in the world football.
