I just finished cooking me some cabbage with bacon 😋. Getting ready to smother me some turkey necks to go with it. Already boiled me some corn on the cob, and cooked my cornbread. Can hardly wait to eat 😋👌🏽 Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Finally a recipe close to my family's roots🫶🏾 Only difference is, when the bacon is almost finished, i add the onions and garlic. I don't take anything out of the pot. I then add the cabbage and let everything cook together bc I prefer the bacon to soften and it keeps more smokiness in the cabbage too.
