Written with Brandon Young. We walked in and started sharing titles. Nothing that we had in the chamber felt right to talk about. I confided in him about my frustrations with being in my 30s and not being married and went through different scenarios that I have complained about that fact but then, in turn, sabotaged any situation that got remotely close to a commitment. He smiled and said, “THAT'S what I want to write about.” I hope people identify with the “singer” in this one and feel less alone in a time where actually making a solid connection with someone can start to feel impossible.
