Block grants, cross state purchase, eliminate coverage minimums, HSA's, remove employer health plans from the mix so everyone has a stake in their insurance, and fully deductible health spending. Oh, tax credits for the working poor. It would be tough to balance, but I believe it would be a lot more functionary than the ACA has been heretofore.

A lot fewer pages, too.

A lot of Military Veterans I know have to rely on Both Medicaid and the VA to be able to pay their medical bills.
Just be VERY Careful what is cut and what is Not.
The VA already does a Less then stellar job taking care of our Vets as it is.
Don't push the politics so that the Vets that made this country possible are caused anymore harm them they are already suffering through without proper help!
