My Mom went to a Jack In the box restaurant she ordered $50 worth of food for me and my family then the girl at the drive thru told her to slide her EBT card twice! Later on during the evening we didn’t know but my mothers EBT card was completely wiped out! She had $260. After the drive thru worker swiped it twice she wiped my mothers card out of $210!!! Be careful of Fast food places. They have people scamming & can get your card number and make purchases online with different retailers.

Darn this is hard to check a machine once let alone twice. I've never checked a machine.i wouldn't know how. There should be some type of firewall that can tell if your card is being read twice.

This just happened to my daughter and it shows wells Fargo's bank and she hasn't been there ever, last place she used it was at a family dollar, I hope they find a new way to stop this you go through hell when this happens and you have to pay rent and that's the only income 😞

Scam is comes from inside, leaking or selling or whatever, non of grocery machine has a “card scanner” or bank ATMs, only insider makes money, period.

And they don’t give you the full amount if you had some left from last month. They only reimburse for what you get each month.

It is impossible to get through to La County DPSS. I am supposed to have money on my card 6/01and it says zero. Customer service never is available in the phone. NEVER! The amount on my IRT income is incorrect. This is awful. How do people on real trouble manage the humiliation of the the long wait times? I could pay for my groceries in cash today. What if I could’nt pay? I’m sure it is happening in a LA County grocery store as I speak. 😡
