Twin Ciels Theory | Why does Ciel hide his asthma?

The theory is canon as of chapter 129! :O

additionally, i forget to mention the flashback scene with baron kelvin. there is a shy boy (our ciel) who vincent says came along despite the fact he was recently sick. the other ciel is there too, and any illness on his behalf is not mentioned. it seems like vincent and the real ciel often went out together whilst our ciel had to stay behind due to his asthma.

edit: i refer to asthma as a sickness, but i've been told that is incorrect! it is actually a condition.

I don't know if you know this, but you can tell the Ciels apart by their hairstyles. I know it might seems ridiculous, but the if you look closely, their front hair is styled differently.

I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING. YOU KNOW HOW IN CHAPTERS WITH LIZZIE, SHE IS WONDERING IF CIEL IS OKAY, BECAUSE HE DOESN'T REMEMBER THE THINGS HE USED TO DO WITH LIZZIE BEFORE THE MONTH THE PHANTOMHIVES WERE KILLED AND CAPTURED. It makes so much sense with this theory. Of course YM wouldn't know, because Lizzie was engaged with LC. And the fact that LC said he didn't like women who fights(like Lizzie's mother) when they were younger, so Lizzie got insecure. However YM was confused about that since he never said that. ALSO, the fact that when they were doing the Easter egg thing, YM doesn't know that LC(I think it was Ciel) made an easter egg for Lizzie before. So Lizzie became worried since he doesn't remember such memories. THIS THEORY MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. I AM MIND BLOWN.

Vincent DOES mention in the manga that Ciel is sick. in chapter 32 (near the end of the Book of Circus arc) Vincent says that Ciel's health is poor so he doesn't go out much. Plus Ciel doesn't have asthma all the time, only when it's triggered (i.e. exertion in the cold) but the Book of Circus attack isn't just asthma, he also has a fever. Plus, Ciel is proud. Of course he doesn't want people to know when he's having an attack because it'll ruin his plans and make him seem weak.

Hey wanna know something odd? Ciel was supposed to have a sister but Vincent said that the family line of woman are a bit strong.. even on the family tree in the chapter that the Shinigamis Sasha and Rudgar were introduced, it shows the branch that leads to Ciel spilt. In. Two.

I was wondering, if the theory is correct; why haven't Elizabeth notice the difference between our Ciel and the Ciel she knew well? Since the two Ciels had different personalities, and looked a tiny bit different from each other; she would have known that Ciel wasn't the real Ciel.

Over looking, Ciel's parents died in a fire, where he inhaled a lot of smoke before capture.

Explaining why he is sick to lizzy would be a nightmare..

The torture he unspokenly went through would no doubt leave it's mark on his health too.

I just want to say, that you don't have to cough all the time if you have asthma, because in the case of asthma attacks are obtained, in which the mucous membranes thicken in the trachea (I have asthma and so I know this), what not mean, that it's not weird that in the one scene Ciel is healthy and in another one he's sick. That's unlogical

I always thought the "real" ciel was our Ciels brother! I didn't know this ( because I don't read the manga) thanks for showing it! And I can't believe Our ciel would do something like this, people say he went through his brother stomach to get the ring maybe not stomach (some people that our ciels name is Aster, I personally think that the author or teh creater of Black Butler should tell us his name or make an episode with The real ciel coming back and exposing him to lizzy and his guests ( if there isn't an episode like this)

for some reason i keep thinking that only Vincent, Tanka, and the german guy maybe some others plus real Ciel know about the one who is called "young master" i think Vincent told Rachel that she had twins and one died, and then never gave him a name, he was never called by his suppose name, he was called young master ( by others ) and this one by Vincent, so i think "young master" doesn't actually have a name

Well now that it's confirmed, we now know it's because the real Ciel doesn't have asthma. If anyone found out he has asthma they find out he's the twin.

at 3:25 that's in the new arc isnt it? I just finished reading chapter 129 AND IM FREAKING OUT. Also, I forgot okay?but at whatever chapter 3:25 is, did Ciel remove his eyepatch? DID HE? cause I literally just realized that the boy in 3:25 doesn't have one, only a shadow and some parts of his hair somehow covered his right eye, (I think I remember our ciel having an alibi like he hurt his eye or something), and according to ch129 'Real ciel' doesn't wear one cause he doesn't have the contract/sign that Our ciel has with sebastian, and Lizzy saying she couldn't save him probably meant because she already found out then that our ciel isn't her fiancee. (p.s I'm about to reread the chapter right now lol)
