Sicily yacht sinking: 4 bodies found during search of wreckage

Divers searching the wreck of a superyacht that sank off Sicily found four bodies Wednesday, as the search continued for two more missing passengers and questions intensified about why the vessel sank so quickly.

Divers and rescue crews unloaded two body bags from the rescue vessels that pulled into port at Porticello. Salvatore Cocina, head of the Sicily civil protection agency, said two other bodies had also been found Wednesday in the wreckage for a total of four.

The mast was initially reported as broken, which seemed odd as it was aluminium and wouldn't have been thin. Then today on the TV news they said that divers found the mast isn't broken.

Skip Novak’s comments are pretty worthless. There is only speculation about the mast breaking, there is nothing confirmed. And those windows are 3cm thick… I think he compares to the smaller yachts he knows about but has little knowledge of superyachts.
