I just commented a moment ago on Moreno's remix of Situation by Yazoo, mentioning Vince Clarke's former home "Ammonite". Anyway, Sometimes turns up very nicely on Erasure's excellent live 1987 DVD/BluRay "The Tank, The Swan and The Balloon". Yes, I was there.

God we had some of the best films and music growing up in the 80s into the 90’s. Everyone can still hear that Tom Hanks laugh down that hole. 😂

RA: With an almost religious angelic choir style intro this track doesn’t hang about getting to those Andy Bell vocals. With a minimal amount of tweaking the instrumentation keeps hold of what made the original so awesome. There’s a lovely med-section break that elevates the listener into a dance frenzy, then it’s back to Andy Bell’s stunning vocals & some more instrumental pleasures. As the track concludes there’s that infectious chorus being repeated & a little of the electronic choir just to finish. Heavenly aural enjoyment. 👍
