I’ll be honest:
I feel like Dogday had so much potential in the new chapter, and I’m disappointed with how quickly he was cast aside. The Smiling Critters in general didn't get nearly as much ingame attention as I expected (minus Catnap), given their hype. As the leader of the critters, Dogday barely having any showtime just feels off to me.

I wish this mod was canon; even if Dogday is horrifying to look at (sorry buddy!), it would’ve been so nice to have another partner in this nightmare facility. I LOVE when horror games give you a character to join forces with you...even if they betray you or die later on. It just makes the experience more enjoyable for me.

I legitimately thought this was an alternate route and was looking everywhere through gameplays only to be brought that this is a mod, which is a huge bummer that the devs didn’t think of this idea.. I seriously would’ve loved the chapter more, I absolutely love it and hope they’ll incorporate dogday like this in the future 💜💜

Ngl, but being able to save DogDay and have him as your companion alongside Ollie, Poppy and Kissy Missy really feels assuring, because with what Catnap's done I believe I can say confidently that he won't be turning on us.

A shame that the dialogue doesn’t always sound like how he would be expected to speak. He would be much more panicked just as the critters start swarming in and would be gasping for breath at the next encounter. Like he could not believe he was alive and free. The way he talks out in the courtyard once up and walking does fit though. Like he’s just tired of life, but dearly trying to hold onto any positivity he has left in him. Bless this dog.

The thing that sucks about DogDay is they you can’t save him, he was a lost cause. Hearing him speak and be able to have a personality is really cool.
