Writing Simple Ionic Formula (NCEA L1 Sci)

Показать описание
The introduction of this video will recap prior learning on the structure of atoms and ions; but in this tutorial you will use ion symbols to write ionic formula. This is a skill you will still be able to learn even if you are still struggling with diagrams of atoms and ions.
Teacher Note:
Monoatomic ions and compound ions from beyond the first 20 elements are also introduced for consistency with the table of ions that is given during NCEA Level 1 Science exams - however, the names are provided in this video (names are NOT given in the exam so stress to students that they will need to learn them).
Other:
Prepared and narrated by Lian Soh from Science Scribe. Science Scribe is a private and personal project that is not associated with or funded by any businesses, educational or government bodies or schemes.
Science Scribe relies on your viewership, likes, subscriptions and shares to survive.
