I wish America mandated us to take a second language starting in elementary school. Spanish the second most common language spoken in the States and it’s a shame most of us can’t speak it.

Edit::/ I want to specify, we had to begin a language in Junior High (7th grade in the US) or age 12 in other countries. We had the option of ending said language in Junior Year of high school. However, if we wanted a Seal of Biliteracy, we had to finish it in Senior year which I did.

I can't believe it's been properly explained the issues I've had for a very long time about my ADHD and auditory issues I thought I was being dramatic but it's nice to know other people out there share the same struggle

She just described my entire struggle around auditory processing, phone calls also make me anxious af and they do sound like simlish 😂

omg i crave subtitles for phone calls, or even when serving customers with music playing; i don't know if i have any neurodiversities but understanding people is difficult

I didn't realize so many people prefer subtitles on. I thought it was just me 😊

The connection between ADHD and auditory processing issues, needing subtitles for even English speaking TV shows and movies, and not liking phone calls is literally the story of my life. It's so refreshing and validating to know that other people have these same issues as well, and talking to other people with these things about it helps some much mostly with understanding what the hell is going on lmao

Totally agree with the subtitle thing. That’s why I really appreciate that you take the time and effort to read out stuff in your games. Good job, Gab! 😄

Very relatable, I had to ask my disability case worker if we could do things via message or in person instead of over phone because with only audio I end up just not really understanding what is being said and get anxious and when the call is over I can’t remember anything that was discussed 😂

Subtitles irl would be so great. It's so awkward asking people to repeat more than once, they look at you like you're stupid but it's just them not speaking clearly enough for my adhd/autistic brain to understand...

SUBTITLES YES! i always wanna have them, not even for translation (English is not my first language) but just in case, they just make me hear better lol
