2 things:
1) The very first part has sand beneath it. Make sure, to replace this before importing to the map, or else, the floor will fall of (unless there is another floor right beneath.
2)If you clone elements in MCEdit and place them in a row, makesure to use the "repeat" function of the Clone tool. It'll spare you so much time, cause you only have to clone once.

You explain things so well, cool design be good if you did one the other side too so you have two blocks to jump on, or you over lap them so you can run across while they appear and disappear behind you.

You can just use your mouse wheel on the repeat section to clone as much as you want instantly.

The light would be perfect in like a Deadspace adventure map, like the zombies would come for you and the light would flicker on and off.

Water temple room. You have to raise or lower the water level to get around the place. Not too much redstone but a whole lot of planning. However it'll be fun to play.

I think that there should be a bridge with plenty of holes and gaps in it, and every time you press the button, the glowstone shows where the holes are for a second, make a few steps, press button, etc. OR make pillars that you have to jump on, that you can't see without lights, and you have to press the button to see everything.

A piece of redstone has made a large hole in the back of my head, taken my brain out, and is now having sexy-time with it on my desk in front of me. Thanks, sparklez.

Here's what he's saying in non-redstoan engineer language:
A platform made of lowstoan is hidden by a block. Pressing the button reaveals the platform, and pushes it out.

you should add a greed part as in a block of diamond or a block of wood and if you distro the diamond the floor falls into lava or just a pit all exept a small path around the side to walk on so you can break the wood or whatever, also put a side saying "greed will be you doom" or something

You could use that piston thing for a part in the map when a part of the space station is broken and you need to get across to fix it

I have made a dynamic maze. As one from VoxelBox did. If your interested in the map, just talk to me. It has a repeating system and uses two pistons at each side of the wall

if u replace the glowstone with redstone lamp and put a redstone torch under neat and put out a clock somewhere it would be a nice alarm system if u connect it to a presureplate with a t-flip flop!

Idea: If you miss a block and fall, you fall really far down through darkness, so you don't know what's going to happen. eventually you hit water, and have to climb back up.

@snati4 but the visibility is a full block of exposed light, which is 1/3 of the piston base, and 2/3 of the extended shaft. you could black out the block behind it, but it would shift the redstone wiring.

I made a small house made out of glass and lava as the walls and a river flowing under it and because of the glass floor you can see that aswell making a pretty cool contrast when your inside (plus you can find it easily in the dark)... i was actually proud of that untill just now..

What would be cool is if rather than you having to jump on the glowstone, the glowstone lights up a little puzzle type thing, or jumping maze, so you have to memorize where stuff is, before it becomes dark again...
