I am a busy homeschool mom, with 4 kids between the ages of 2 and 10, and many subjects based on Charlotte Mason's philosophy. I use a routine to fit it all in.

Another thing I do is get to bed at a decent time (9-10pm) and I get up around 3-5am and I have plenty of time before the kids get up. I get time alone, I will start working out soon and working from home. My kids go to bed at 6:30-7pm for my 5yo and 1yo, my 10yo & almost 9yo go to bed at 8-8:30pm. Then my husband and I have designated time together. In order to have more time for picking up/cleaning/school etc I do a lot of crock pot dinners or simple meals. If I do one that's more intricate I will assign a dinner helper, my girls help clean the kitchen at night before bed. They wash dishes, put dinner away, wipe counter and sweep the floors. I also have everyone a chore list and they're not allowed to play or eat until chores are done and our house, for the first time ever, stays relatively clean (or at least as clean as I and my husband can handle with 4 kids in the house & 4 pets!!)

I'm with you on the cleaning! Would love to see what you have planned for your lunch routine, I'm in need of some lunch inspiration.

My 4yr old goes to a play-based preschool Tue/Thur for 2 1/2hrs.
We start each day watching CNN 10. We then do some interfaith prayers and study. If it's Tuesday or Thursday I only work with my ten-year-old if it's Monday or Wednesday I work with both of my boys. After our interfaith studies Mon-Thurs my ten-year-old does does his independent binder work. I work with my four-year-old on his short ABC's and numbers lessons when my oldest doesn't independent (Mon/Wed). On Mondays we do unit study and online at math. Tuesday and Wednesday my ten-year-old does Mad lib reading workbook and math worksheets. Thursday we do "building writers" from Handwriting without Tears and a math game. After all of this Mon- Thurs my ten-year-old does violin practice.
Fridays we only do prayers, CNN 10, math fact review, violin practice, and then go to co-op.

We have occupational and speech therapy appointments we have to work around. It makes it tough to keep a schedule
