So many comments I want to argue with, but you're all saying the same thing.
"They're just showing criminals how to break into our homes." No, they're not.

1. These videos are about the least destructive ways to get past a door, not the quietest or fastest.
If a criminal wants to get in quickly he'd use a sledgehammer, if he wants to get in quietly he'll try doors and windows until he finds one that's unlocked.
If this thief has thought things through a lot then maybe he'll use something like bump keys.

2. He's showing how to use a hammer to break a lock just enough to bypass it. This isn't a new idea, and isn't particularly useful to burglars who don't care about damaging your door.

3. Even the stuff that's faster, quieter, and scarier than this should be public knowledge. A world where everybody knows how to break into a house is a world where everybody knows how to make their home secure.

4. Insisting that security flaws not be public knowledge is part of the reason there are so many ineffective designs to be taken advantage of in the first place. You need to know what the problems are before you can even begin to address them.

If I've convinced you that you should be learning about this stuff, then look up a channel called LockPickingLawyer, and don't leave your doors and windows unlocked all the time.

These are the type of videos that should not go viral.

To all you people complaining about this showing others how to rob houses, there’s much easier & quieter ways of entering, like through a window etc 🤣 If you think crime don’t know how to break into a house your fooling yourself!

Honestly, you might just try a tension wrench and a triple peak rake or possibly a bump key. It may not work, but when it does, it's way easier than what ya just demonstrated.

Nice video, John. I've never seen a secondary deadbolt like that - very interesting! It doesn't seem like there is an easy way to beat that, at least not without using a bar!

Tension tool and city rake. Get up to date.

I'm still looking for how this was a respectful manner of opening a door.

They sell a kwikset smart key T handle tool to simply turn the lock open. This is dumb, the lock is also missing the part they provide to make this exact technique harder. Bogus. -the locksmith.

Why are you showing potential predators how to enter a private dwelling to commit their crimes so easily this is so annoying keep it to your private profession please we don’t need everyone knowing this kind of information.

All of these videos should be taken down. If you need firefighters to learn this, then put it on a private server, in your own system, NOT youtube.

Also, all of you saying that, oh you can hear the hammer, blah, blah, blah. 1. A lot of the elderly can't hear that well or at all, 2. Are you always home to hear it? The answer is NO. You could be at the store, or at work, on vacation, ect. So pull your heads out of your butts and use a bit of common sense people.

This channel needs to be reported! Not only to YouTube, but the FBI well. No man, woman and child is safe when criminally minded people learn this stuff. Shame on you trying to make money off a website and making it look like you’re an actual academy of fire science. A real fireman or locksmith won’t show off like this!

I don't think it's a good idea to show how professionals SAVE LIVES. this is endangering & enabling the bad the chance to get tips from pros. please consider hiding these videos, if they are for teaching reasons, only show to those in the firefighting academies. please, this is real dangerous
