This is definitely a book I need to read. Hopefully they aren't proposing "Market Socialism" or as I call it a Worker's Market. You can't defeat Capitalism by keeping the Market as a Central Mechanism in Society and handing the Market over to the Working Class.

The kamoo paradox is not a issue. Material, design, and the equipment that we use for the lifestyle we have now is all made to be wasteful.
One example is : of you build houses from pressed earth or natural fiber and soil they keep a better temperature for residents, 2 if you use a "passive vent and a heat soak" you can heat them and cool them more for no money.
3 if you build them with a air pocket under the house and a water circulation system heated by the sun they do it even better.

All of that is cheaper than what we doing now plus it's not hard to get the stuff for it and you can do it to high rise buildings. But it doesn't make a profit for anybody month after month
