Even though he has stopped making YouTube videos, I would like to thank Paul, again. There are YouTube teachers out there who have more content, and some native speakers who have more authentic knowledge. But NONE OF THEM can touch Paul's teaching method with a ten foot pole. The way he simply gives a sentence in English, then pauses, allowing for his students to translate the sentence into Spanish, seems simplistic, but it is superior. He gives very brief explanations of what things mean, but he allows us to learn by speaking. Other teachers out there flood us with information and talk nonstop, never allowing us to practice it. And some give detailed (and confusing) breakdowns of what things mean, but don't give real world conversational phrases and allow time for us to practice them. Paul is the best Spanish teacher I have encountered yet. Hands down. Thanks man.

I am currently taking a Spanish class at my local community college. I learn more from Your weekly videos and your course, which I purchased, then I have in this spanish class. After 9 weeks we are still not talking, I've turned half the class on to your you tube videos. Now I need to find someone who I can actually speak spanish with every day. When that happens I feel I will actually be able to speak spanish without my mind sitting down everytime I try. Thank you Paul. I'm gonna be using your videos for life.

Paul is one of the best to get anyone actually being able to speak in Spanish after doing his mini lessons. If you can’t it’s no for you. I’ve tried many now talking to my friend in Spanish. Gracias por Paul

I’m Russian but I use your way of teaching Spanish is the best one. And one thing that really matters: if you can speak one language more or less fluently just like in my case it’s English, it’s not really challenging to master any language from Roman or German language group but.... using a proper method of teaching which is yours: teaching step by step with a follow up drill. I too am a teacher of over 30 years. Paul has developed an excellent methodology for teaching conversational Spanish. I love it!!! It is very easy to follow, and has the student being able to put together structured meaningful sentences quickly without a lot of memorization. A person can have a bit of a conversation quite quickly using Paul’s method.

You know why Paul’s courses are the best for learning Spanish? It’s because, in his courses he gets right to the meat of the matter. His approach, or technique to teaching Spanish is phenomenal! He doesn’t get you all cluttered up with grammar rules. My Spanish has improved exponentially. I’ve attended all his many courses many times for brush ups. I don’t even have to pause at this point! Thank you for another excellent video. We recently bought your course. My wife and I spend an hour a day, six days a week, doing the course. This is the 4th course we have tried, and it is far and away the best. Finally we have hope of achieving fluency in Spanish - essential, because we live in Mexico. Just today we were saying again how remarkable it is that after spending so much time on all those other courses, we were still pronouncing things so wrong that we got the dreaded blank stares. Your course is just so excellent - it is teaching us to pronounce properly and be understood at last. Plus, it is just so logical - it is teaching us how to make up the sentences we need to communicate.
