That's the first time I see someone talking about colorblind speedcubers. As a colorblind guy, I always had a stickered cube. Thank you for talking about this a little bit. Love your vids.

I really appreciate you covering the colorblind aspect. I have to have grey instead of green and black instead of orange on my cubes because of my color deficiency and it means significantly less choice in cubes. It's very frustraiting.

What I find good about stickerless is that you can be almost 100% sure that if you're buying a stickerless cube, it will turn at least half-decent, while on stickered you may run into unfilleted cubes that require wrist rotations, like the Original Rubik's series. Of course, you always look closely at what you're buying, but it just seems like an interesting little detail to think about. :)

I don’t think anybody could actually get an unfair advantage with a stickerless. I think that ban was pointless.

I competed back when stickerless was illegal so I was thrilled when it was legalized. Just to find I enjoy stickered more. I like when the stickers get worn. It shows mileage on a cube which I think is cool

you need to stop burning your cubes in your thumbnails

I remember when stickerless Cubes were illegal. Crazy bad CUber had to dye his stickerless Dayan zhanchi black😂😂

It would actually be nice to have stickerless cubes reproducing the scheme of stickered cubes with black lines around the pieces. This is the reason why I prefer stickered cubes, the alternance between colors and black (kind of like shadows) make each piece stand out more and you get this really cool 3D aspect like you can really tell each piece is a small cube in itself, which with a stickerless cube is just not possible, it just seems like one big cube. Do you know what I mean?

Edit: I guess what I wanted to say in a few words is that stickerless cubes visually have a lack of depth which I don’t really like.

For me, whether or not the cube is stickered actually matters a lot. I have always used a stickerless cube, and when I got a stickered cube, I noticed that I was a lot worse at look ahead - I made more mistakes in F2L and took longer to look.

Idk, I like the beaten up sticker look, it gives me the impression of something a lot more rough worn and makes me want to turn faster, also yeah, the frosted plastic and stuff is inconsistent af so stickered is just good for a more consistent feeling against your hand.

I have always used stickerless cubes, from when I learned all through now. One day a friend and I swapped cubes to see how our times got affected by using each other cubes (I like my cubes fast, he likes them slower). His main was a stickered cube. Not only was I turning bad because the cube was slower then I was use to, but the stickers felt so WEIRD.

I just cant use stickered cubes because of the edge on the sticker.

A tip for colorblind cubers: nail polish is a wonderful replacement for stickers if you have no choice but to get a stickerless cube, and you can make it comp legal by painting the insides black ( likely spray paint? I've never had to do this).

I'm red/green deuteranopic and I replace orange with black and red with grey. I dont feel like my colorblindness prevents me from speedcubing, even on 12 color megaminx.

My dad is colourblind and uses two different blues in stead of blue and green. This trips me up so much when I use it

Bruh. I actually have deuteranopia, and when I watched that part of the video, I thought, "bruh... I have to make a comment on this." Also, I love your videos!
