First Lego Fact video, what was your fav detail? Did you notice how similar the SWS maps were to BF2?

Wow! Movie accurate locations using the same layout and textures?! Crazy! Like, be real, the BF 2 and Skywalker Saga maps look different, and the textures are different, too.

For the first part, im guessing a lot of these are canonical layouts and Battle front just has the most up to date depictions

Imagine pointing out that 2 games, based on the same thing, has similiar maps, based on the same in-universe locations.

Those are clearly different models. They look the same because they're based off the same thing

Always loved the amount of love and Easter eggs that go into the Lego games. Shout out to Lego Clone Wars which is criminally underrated

Oh my god. Would’ve never guessed two maps based off the same movie location would look the same.

As a 3d modeller, you are utterly wrong

referring to the "phase 2 clones" being considered villains, its actually intentional that they are in the hero class. after you pass episode 3 (if going by progression) the phase 2 clones later have the ability to use villain terminals

the same goes the other way for the Kashyyk scout trooper, they are considered villains but have the ability to use hero terminals and dress in disguises as if they were a hero character.
i wouldn't say its a coding bug, i see it as intentional since they were technically both heroes and villains

The whole section with the cut Clone Troopers is because "The Complete Saga" is actually a mash-up of the two previous games. LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game was the first and focuses exclusively on the prequels. That game was released around the same time as Revenge of the Sith, so the devs had to work with concept art and early designs for the movie.

The complete saga came out in 2007, but the original game was released before Ep III came out, that is why some things aren't 100% correct.

They aren’t the same maps, they’re just both screen accurate

Wow I’m disappointed in the devs with the maps. They delayed the game many times just for them to use the same maps as battlefront 2?. That seems hecka lazy.

4:48 She also died in Canon in the Bad Batch on Kamino.
Just after Order 66 you see a body bag that is presumably Shaak Ti.
As far as Yoda's vision goes, the future is always in motion.

I’ve played both games and I had no idea that the maps were the same

The reason why the clones in the complete saga are of early *wrong* designs is because The Complete saga is a updated and rereleased version of Lego Star wars 1 and 2,
and Lego Star Wars 1 was made at the same time Episode 3 was being made so they just used what was probably given to them by Lucasfilm which was unfinished designs and cuts of the film was also the reason why there are some deleted scenes in the cutscenes for the episode 3 levels.

Cody was this way because he is originally from Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. That game was released the same year as RoTS. That is why so much RoTS is based on canceled stuff and concept art.

Really glad you mentioned the way Phase 2 Clones are handled in the Skywalker Saga. Always bugged me a bit too that Skywalker Saga's Phase 2 Clones aren't all that accurate - mainly the Shock Troopers and 212th - but they also just don't have the 91st or 212th Airborne. It also bugs me that we see different Clone classes (officer, heavy, sniper, and ARC Trooper), but unlike the Stormtroopers of the Empire and First Order, we can only play as standard Clone Troopers, and not the cool class versions we fight against. I also don't like that most Phase 2 clones hold their blasters like pistols (like Han Solo), rather than shouldering them like proper soldiers. It all just goes to show how rushed the game was by the end.

Well, both use the areas shown in the movies, of course they look the "same". But, don't believe for a second that Travellers Tales exported the maps from Battlefront 2. Dice may not own Star Wars, but they most definitely own the rights to Battlefront 2, as such TT Games would have to license the maps from them, and also convert the data set from Frostbyte into their own Engine. At the end of the day, they look similar because both use high fidelity graphics to show the same things. Believing these assets to be the VERY same from BF2 is non-sense, by that same logic you could say that Dice used the assets from Maz's Cantina and Starkiller Base in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Now this may seem crazy, but if you hear me out, it could be because, now this may be hard to understand but, they were based off of places in the movies for both games. 🤯 i know right its crazy
