Can I ask you how you set volume on channel's input and Master Volume? Both cranked? Can you get this level of distortion at home without blasting your ears?

Hey man, I have a chance of getting one of these cheap - but the original telefunken tubes have been changed out (hence the price). Do you know how much of a difference it would make to the sound? Would it sound completely different? Thanks

That to a "purest" is SACRILEGE that classic echo unit was not designed for horrible distortion like that.
