How to do the Throttle Body Alignment with VCDS

Issue was throttle body adaption after disconnecting of battery in a 1999 VW Passat wagon. Today is Oct 2, 2020 I ordered the Hex-V2 a week ago, it arrived in the mail this afternoon. I downloaded software and connected everything and followed the steps in this video. It recognized the fault in the throttle body and took me through step by step to readapt. Was back up and running in about 5 min! Then took some time to go through and clear other codes. Thanks Ross- Tech!

Then you wait more than 30 seconds. :) I'm not really sure why the 30 second rule is there in the first place. From our point of view (VCDS), nothing happens between the ECM and VCDS after the ADP OK message comes up. The EPROM does need to save new values from the Throttle Body, but I would think that takes 30 seconds to happen, as in milliseconds. But the 30 second rule comes from VW / Audi, so I'm sure there is some reason for it.

Great video. Did this the other week but I forgot to check the battery voltage, the TBA solved my problems for 2 days but the problem came back. I forgot to check the battery Voltage, what happens if the voltage is not over the limit 11, 5-11, 9 V?

I was trying to calibrate my throttle body in my audi a4b7 (8E) 2005 but i don't have any of these options. Protocol says CAN, there's no channel 098 or 060 and in the drop menu there's only EGR, boost pressure and Fuel pump. Can i get a bit of help?

Did you have the battery disconnected? If so, then doing the TBA can resolve that issue. The high pitch noise... throttle bodies are known to do this, it can be considered normal in most cases.

At what engine temperature should I erase the settings learned on channel 00?

Should I later adopt the throttle and EGR and then start it and leave it idle until the fan turns on? Then turn it off and let it cool down?
At what temperature should I adopt the throttle??
I have a new EGR and a new throttle installed, but despite this the revs fluctuate on a hot engine.

How exactly do I perform such a procedure?

Good morning, I installed the new EGR valve and the new throttle body, do I need to alignment them? I reset the error and it didn't reappear, the machine seems fine.

I'm trying to perform the thottle body adaptation on my Brazilian VW UP TSI using the new VCDS version V22.3.1 for win11 but I can't find the option anywere! Maybe they removed this option from this version or changed the option to another place?

Hi. I have a Seat ibiza 1.4 TSi 6j cupra, BocaNegrA version with 180hp. Original. I m doing the replacement of that throttle. But I also have to replace the other one behind . Exactly behind of that black plastic throttle, theres another metal throttle.
So How can I differentiate the alignment from the plastic throttle to the metal throttle with VCDS and vagcom??
