the pattern slots is such a simple thing thats so overdue-- like, they must have seen how intense custom islands have been-- how creative people are with it, more pattern slots would probably take 5 minutes to update and everyone would love it lol

Hear me out. Make Bunny Day just a few days at the very beginning of the month, maybe 1 day long. Zipper scares everybody anyway, so the less we see of him the better. Stretch out the cherry blossom season, giving it its own exclusive time-about a week- where you get more petals. Then devote the rest to Mario month. It's his anniversary, after all! Maybe you can unlock minigames on your Switch (item) based on his games! You could get a limited edition console, too! I also totally agree with the Amiibo idea.

My thoughts exactly. This game was 60 dollars; let alone all the people who bought Nintendo switches JUST to play ACNH, like me. Nintendo really needs to do more than just the bare minimum, which us new ACNH players don't even know, becauae this game is less than the bare minimum. So many NPCs were cut from the game, and while yes, they might be added later, these are NPCS we should have gotten to begin with. This update was such a disappointment, but it has set my expectations so low I couldn't care less. (I actually made a short animation yesterday about how the community reacted to the Festivale update trailer, it isn't very good quality and I made it in some amount of minutes so it isn't that good, but still.) Also, somehow Nintendo has managed to give NPCs like Isabelle and Orville more dialogue then necessary, while making the villagers that are SUPPOSED to have LOTS of interesting dialogue for us to read dry and repetitive? As if that ain't ironic? Anyways, thank you for making this video and facing the truth that ACNH has some issues when it comes to updates.

The fact they missed their chance on having Brewster get here for a V-day event is so WILD to me. It was RIGHT THERE. Perfect time to introduce him, and new 'learning about your villagers' mini game like the had in New Leaf. A great way of showing how much you learned and grown to care for these guys.

As for the art itself, FABULOUS as always! You outdone yourself with the feathers and lighting.

And you made a really good point with the back-to-back mash-up of all the DLCs, surprised they relegated the Mario Themed items to just March to tie in with the 35th, surprised they didn't tie them into scanning the Mario Amiibo to earn them, since we DID have Nintendo Items before that wasn't tied to a holiday before. - Just really hope that New Horizons gets better over time because the burnout is a lot more prominent than before, the thing that really burned me out was the repetitiveness and lack of things to do.

If they really want to make this 'The Best One' it's seeming like they're taking their time with it, I understand it might be due to Covid but, It hurts when you look at the content compared to Smash Bros Ultimate and it's build-up to be 'The Best Smash ever', I really hope that maybe after the 1 year anniversary really kicks into high-gear for NH, because at this rate, it really does look like the best AC visual-wise but its bones are lacking a lot of the theoretical 'meat' known as content.

Also please don't rope the Mario items into just DiYs, as a Mario Fanatic, that'd hurt me beyond physical levels.

Hit the nail on the head. I also just generally worry about if/when these free updates will switch to paid DLC, considering everything missing from base game that should have been there since the beginning.

I have spent almost the past YEAR not having the game and pondering whether I should ask for it at some point but if they don't DO anything new I think I can live with just pocket camp.

Your Pave looks grand, the background colours are very festival like. Looks like he's about to show off his dance skills! Wonderful! :)

His new set is great, the colour variations are fun, I'd imagine the rainbow version is probably going to get a lot of use in june, though I wish they'd also added in the original indoor set as well, even if they renamed it.

The updates are getting to be a joke really, there's not enough content that spills into non event periods. The march update will probably make or break the community's faith in the update system, I just hope New Horizons stops going the way of the Sims 4.
