Putin Accuses West of 'Adding Fuel to the Fire' in Ukraine Conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the West of fuelling the conflict in Ukraine.

Addressing participants of the international security forum, Putin shifted the blame for the ongoing conflict in Ukraine on Western countries, accusing them of funding the conflict.

He further accused the West of provoking conflicts in other areas, claiming NATO is transferring military confrontation to outer space and the information space.

"It is possible to reduce confrontation at the global and regional level, neutralize challenges and risks, strengthen trust between states and open up broad opportunities for their development only by joining the efforts of the world community," Putin said.
