"Now what?" is a dangerous question in the world of Rubik's cubes.

The implicit dread contained within that "Now what?"

"The mystery is gone, which is a little bit sad but mostly exciting." I feel like this applies to so many things.

Don't underestimate the power of being able to solve a Rubik's cube. I put my ability to solve a Rubik's cube in less than 2 minutes on my resume, and I've had two interviews that ended with a Rubik's cube on the table, asking me to solve it. It's a great party trick, and very impressive to people who don't know how. 👍🏻

The best part about the rubiks cube is that it was created as a thought experiment that was supposed to be impossible to solve.

You move on to bigger and better cubes and you aim for below a minute, then below 30 seconds! There’s so much more to cubing!!! Keep the journey going

Hello! Speedcuber here. Solving the rubiks cube is only the start! Changing methods and getting faster by learning more algorithms is the funnest part of cubing.
If you only want to solve it just to solve it, then just learn the beginner method. Hope this helps!

That smile after the "Boom!" looks both happy and pained at the same time. I can't solve a rubiks cube, and I'm very proud of you.

As a speed solver myself, It’s great to see beginners learning how to solve it. Average is 20 second btw

I also learned how to solve and loved it. A few years later my son got into it. He learned how to speed solve, which was a LOT more work. He solved in 10 seconds at a competition :-) I was proud of his hard work.

the nice thing is that with this method, a little bit of practice, and some understanding of the cube, you can get to 40~ seconds pretty consistently.

As a speed solver I think this is a really great start because it took me like 20 minutes to solve my first cube and you learned so fast. Great job

I wish I could remember the happiness that I've felt when I solved a rubics cube for the first time
