When I was little, I slammed my foot in the car door. One of the things for it to heal properly was to walk on it at least 15 minutes a day. So mama would walk with me around the driveway everyday til it fully healed. When I got older, I got in trouble and was sent out of state. Mama dropped everything and moved just to be close to me. She passed away in 2010 from cancer. Thank you for this song. I miss her so much.

A week ago today I heard the song for the first time (documentary on Arte von Beth's concert). I had to cry right away, because I suspected that my mom would soon be over. She died 3 days later. It is now being played at her funeral too. Thank you Beth for this wonderful song. ♥
