Using Modules on Organize Content on Canvas

Modules are a great way to organize your content. You can use modules to create a linear path for your students to navigate through your material.

You can control student progress by setting up prerequisites that must be completed before the student can move on to the next module.

You can add previously created content or you can build new content as you go. Modules can contain

- Quizzes
- Files
- Content Pages
- Discussions
- And more…

You can rearrange your content using the drag and drop feature and you can indent material to make the content appear more organized.

While you are developing your module, your content will remain hidden from student view until you are ready to release and publish the content. Publishing content is controlled both at the module level and at the individual content level for maximum control over what students see and when.
