Good evening, Dr. Anuj.
Firstly, thank you so much for documenting your med school journey thus far. It really is a boon for people like me, who are about to enter MBBS.
Further, I was going through the plans for Marrow and PrepLadder for first year and came across a problem. The video hours of Marrow and PrepLadder are given as under :
(PL - PrepLadder, M - Marrow)
1. Anatomy - 80 hrs PL vs 61 hrs M (Also, the sample video on brachial plexus was better in PL)
2. Physiology - 79 hrs PL vs 54 hrs M
3. Biochemistry - 48 hrs M vs 37 hrs PL (Here, Rebecca James ma'am from M has a much more elaborate coverage of topics than that in PL, for e.g. M has 7 lectures on enzymology as opposed to PL which has only 1.)
I've heard that M is more elaborate than PL, but for Ist year subject, the opposite seems to be true (except for biochemistry). As someone who needs some elaboration of concepts, I am now in a dilemma. So, I would be very grateful to hear your take on this. Further, are these app, when augmented with standard textbooks, enough for Professional Board Exams, as opposed to NExT alone?
