Republican says GOP ‘stuck on stupid’ pushing for government shutdown

Moderate New York Republican Mike Lawler said members of the GOP blocking efforts to keep the federal government from going into shutdown before a Saturday deadline are ‘stuck on stupid’ in an interview with CNN.

Criticising members of his party, Lawler said: ‘Some of my colleagues have, frankly, been stuck on stupid and refused to do what we were elected to do, against the vast majority of the conference, who have been working to avoid a shutdown’

Government shut down is OK. Current US government is promoting high inflation and Wealth re-distribution. Government is inducing illegal immigrants and welfare dependency. Just keep in mind the Congress hasn’t done their job since 1997. They havent done a line item budget in almost 3 decades. All they e done is Omnibus bill after Omnibus bill CR after CR. Now all the sudden when a handful of people say hold on a minute let’s actually do our job and outline a proper budget, everyone throws their hands up and says you guys are crazy extreme right wingers.
