CASE IH 9330 Tractor Merging 40ft of Hay

Big Tractor Power is out in the field with a 250 hp CASE IH STEIGER 9330 tractor working with a 40ft OXBO 2340 Triple Merger to put together 80ft of hay in one windrow. This video shares the 9330's production history, specifications and price tag.

I grew up running a CIH 9130 row crop special, and then a 9330 row crop special. They were great tractors and a testament to the Steiger design and engineering.

The OXBO 2340 looks like a nice machine and requires a 150HP tractor minimum. We've used a 21 HP tractor on tandem rakes for a total of 18 feet per pass, but I realize the problem they're solving is slightly different than I'm used to.

Definitely a solid Replacement of the old dual and triple rake setups from Then IH and John Deere! Only needed a 25-60 hp 2WD tractor though at best to pull them.

Thanks for sharing. I was "fortunate" enough to run one of these a few times several years ago. I followed the liquid manure spreader with the chisel plow. Actually it wasn't too bad with the doors shut. Lol. ✌️🖖

I swear I’m watching the leaves fly off that alfalfa. Cool concept but a lower profile pickup and wind guard would benefit it in this application I think.

Always fancied converting a pull type swather into a merger, im raking silage and hay this season with my 60yr old NewHolland No.56 basket rake, old girl has done 0ver 400 acres this season already

I don't remember seeing an articulated tractor on a merger until earlier this week when I saw an older deere, 8630 I think, on singles with an H&S merger, not as large as that Oxbo

In my area only big farms have 4wd mostly every runs row cops cuz of feild size....intresting to see a 4wd tractor merg hay.

in my neck of the woods, big articulate looks weird on a merger, farm i work on we run two oxbo's 330 and 334. 34 foot and a 30 foot can throw alot of hay togeather in short order.
