BSG Deadlock is fun! Have a playthrough I've been bouncing back and forth into for like the past couple of years. Sadly, on console, you can't rename your ships. Only in skirmish/Anabasis and its preset names.

I've played the old school homeworld so many times, and the radiation level turned into one of my favourites when I stopped trying to harvest while doing the mission. Getting a battlecruiser, and then just hanging out on a concentrated mining mission with stakes was very cool. This mission is the worst of both the second to last mission, and the homeworld 1 mission and the other asteroid mission in it. For my homeworld 3 run, I just right clicked and sat back. It went pretty good!

I wish we got little snippets of radio chatter from craft. Like, it would be fun to see a resource collector say "Contact, contact, mining vessel requesting support!" Or a fighter saying "Arg, I can't shake him" then "I've got you Viper 4" or "I'm hit, systems cr-bzzzz." Then, when you give new orders, having someone say "First Squadron, regroup on my trajectory" or "New orders first Squadron, fall in!" Or " First Squadron, Delta/line/sphere formation!"

Yes, this is because empire at war did it and I think it's really cool.

Try poaching as many frigates and larger vessels as you can.

It’s absolutely hilarious when you gank their stuff and turn their own toys against them.

The Corvettes with the rail guns are better at blowing up the rocks and the machine gun frigates

14:00 if you want your fleet to not kill the enemy you're capturing you can order them to target something else or just put them onto passive stance

Couple of things not sure if you know about them, you can CTRL click defend, so cover the whole group, the other thing, the mothership can harvest too and will move to position and launch the grabbers, doesn't capture though.
