Filmed: Friday, August 17, 2012 (7:15-8:45pm EDST). Plane spotting YUL (Montreal -- Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport -- Dorval, Quebec, Canada). Viewing location is the Jacques de Lesseps Plane Spotting Park on the east side of the airport on Jenkins Avenue.
It's a beautiful warm summer day (25°C), mostly sunny with some scattered cloud and light westerly winds (9-17 km/h). Watching planes take off on runway 24L (northeast to southwest) heading over Lac Saint-Louis. Evenings are noticeably shorter, i.e. earlier sunset, than May/June/July and this makes for lower resolution videos as it gets darker and most interesting evening takeoffs are between 6-9pm.
