The spec of the Husqvarna MC7 leaves very little room for criticism. The RockShox PIKE RC fork and a Deluxe RT rear shock are easy to adjust and perform smoothly. The Shimano Deore brakes might not be the most powerful option but deliver enough braking power with the 200 mm rear- and the 180 mm front-rotor. The Shimano XT Di2 drivetrain is a welcome addition and feeds directly off the main battery in the downtube. What really left us scratching our heads is the fork lockout-remote; it’s totally pointless in an eMTB context and the cockpit is simply too crammed to accommodate the remote in the intended mounting position. Another drawback is the Husqvarna branded dropper seatpost which only features 100 mm of travel.
