TOTAL MBBS SEATS IN KASHMIR = 1239
All INDIAN QUOTA = 15 % = 185
REMAINING SEATS = 1054
OPEN MERIT = 40% = 421
Out of which 10% = horizontal= 42
Remaining open merit = almost 380 { boys 190, girls 190)
Reserved Category = vertical 60% = 632
Reserved horizontal 10% from open merit = 42
Total reserved = 632+42= 674

We can say that for open merit seats are 380 = 36 percent
For reserved categories seats are 674 = 64 percent
