Professor Sohail Inayatullah

The futures studies researcher and professor at Tamkang University, Taipei. He is most known for inventing and popularizing the futurist technique of Causal Layered Analysis, which uses a four-layered approach to achieve transformative change. Professor Inayatullah is the inaugural UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies, received a Laurel award for all-time best futurist by the Shaping Tomorrow Foresight Network, and also is awarded an honorary doctorate by Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. More than 350 journal papers, book chapters, encyclopaedia entries, and magazine editorials have been published by him.
