I love this album so much. This remix in particular I find has fixed the largest mixing problems of the original. I downloaded it to listen to offline, and I'm glad I did since the original seems to have been deleted. As such, I don't know who to give credit to for the remix anymore. If anyone knows, let me know and I will fix it. Full credit to them and of course the Smashing Pumpkins for making it.

I’ve listened to a few songs on this album (Doomsday Clock, 7 Shades Of Black, Tarantula, United States) and I gotta say, all of these songs are incredible. On the base album, I feel like the vocals definitely needed better mixing and this mostly fixes it. I still feel like some of the harmonics and vocal choices could’ve been fixed, but the “riffage” and drums on this album are INCREDIBLE. I love how this album utilizes C# standard or drop C# tuning (my favorite tuning). The solos are all incredible. One thing can be said about Billy Corgan: that his guitar solos are always the best. I also love the concept of this album. The graphic of the statue of liberty succumbs to a theme of war (considering all of the things going down in the US at this point) kind of similar to demon days by gorillaz. Hopefully the rest of these songs are as good as the ones I’ve heard.

Update: Yeah I can definitely see why the other songs are considered “mediocre” but I still think the guitar tone and drums in this album is great.

Damn this album ALWAYS slaps. I’ll remember it all of a sudden - does that album still slap? - yes it does. Chamberlain walked past my friend and I in like 2009 in a studio hallway and said “how the fuck are ya guys?” Haha engraved in my mind. Such a jovially angry sweaty dude.

I was going through some of the worst stuff in high school, depression, anxiety. THIS album, especially, helped me through those lonely, scary times.

Check out Chamberlin’s interview with Rick Beato—SP never used a click, and apparently almost all producers did not want to touch this album (for that reason, but also because they were insistent upon using 24-track, analog)!!! This album is so freaking refreshing and powerful!! Thank you for uploading this, Bob!!

This mix pushes Corgans vocals down in the mix. This is how it SHOULD have been recorded! The biggest issue I have with later SP albums is that Corgans vocals are way too high in the mix.

It's a travesty that this isn't on streaming services. Such a massively powerful album!

The last rock album from them. Love it. Wish they would do more of this style of rock. Definitely my favorite album.

I bought this album from Target when I was 15, I’ve listened to it probably 200 times and love it more every time.

I don’t know what magic they did for this mix but the vocals are so much better than the recent albums’ mixes. It also cements how great this album is, that’s some legit classic Corgan song writing. I have the CD still in our only car with a cd player because heavens forbid music isn’t digitally available *cough*
Thanks for uploading, it was a great relisten

Lucky I have this on CD. In many ways this album and Killing Joke's "Hosannas..." saved my life at a very dark time in my life. I am very grateful to these two bands.
