In July 2022, Nikos Aliagas, at the invitation of Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro, visited Venice for the first time and observed its enigmatic and fascinating reality. From that moment, the idea was born to really look inside Venice, exploring the universe that orbits around Palazzo Vendramin Grimani.
Nikos Aliagas' camera lens went in search of the city's extraordinary everyday life, leaving the images to tell the stories of those who live and make these places come alive. A symphony of hands and faces, of life scenes and landscapes, sublimated by the timeless contrast of black and white.
