No worries if win 10 ends support
We can always at any point of time shift to linux if it's not possible to upgrade to win 11

What doesn't make sense is leaving 6th and 7th gen Intel CPUs out of the compatibility list... They have pretty much the same architecture of 8th gen

I hate updating. Your computer might be compatible, but suddenly you have to buy all new peripheries because _they’re_ not compatible.

Information was so clear. Ended up downloading Compatibility checker and got some very good news. This video made my day. Thank you so much Kevin. 😆😉

Microsoft makes no money from a free upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but they do make money when you have to buy a new computer with Windows 11 pre installed on it.

I like how when I decided to finally upgrade to W10, W11 decides to introduce itself.

A report I read suggested 96% of all PCs globally will not be able to run Windows 11. That’s about a billion PCs!

They should keep the TPM but also allow access for old hardware without tpm

Tried it on unsupported cpu and it's smoother than windows 10. I'm enjoying it

Microsoft should reconsider, since older CPU's can perfectly run Windows 10.

I just bought a new computer in late 2019, so it runs win10. NOPE, not upgrading or buying a new one unless absolutely necessary.

I think the worst thing here is that all the tests pass for me but the fail is skylake Intel Gen 6 processor. You telling me this wont run WIN 11, you gotta be kidding me.

I was able to get Windows 11 to run perfectly fine on an old 2013 Dell Optiplex 9020 with Intel i7 4th Generation processor. You just never know until you try.

All 11 of my home machines are incompatible in nearly every category. The 400 devices we have at work are the same. I wrote a business case to replace them and to test and modify custom apps. The ball park figure in $CDN is 3 million to replace all 400 machines for an organization who annual budget is $15 million that’s about 30% of the entire annual budget!

I have an i5 6th gen cpu and it has exactly the same security features that an 8th gen boasts of having. I think Microsoft should reconsider including 6th gen and 6+ gen CPUs from Intel

Thank you Kevin. Clear, easy to understand and very informative. Not sure how I feel about the upgrade but I think there's always some pushback whenever change is introduced. Thankfully, it looks like my PC is good to go. I've subscribed to your channel. I'm looking forward to reviewing your other videos. Thanks again!
