Good lord what are they thinking changing the video scrubbing interface.
The way video scrubbing has been up until now is perfection and I’ve been hoping all other OSs and video platforms would adopt iPhone’s approach.

This is a massive downgrade!

I am NOT happy about what you said regarding video scrubbing. I use this feature all the time and it seems a totally retrograde step.
Hopefully, people who agree get vocal and Apple reverses this crazy decision.

The emergency SOS live video + photos is not for satellite, this only applies to normal emergency calls on cellular networks.

Just doing the quick math on this and the average text is about 0, 0002 MB. A normal photo would be around 3 MB, that being almost 1 MILLION percent bigger than the text message. And then streaming video with satellite would be even bigger than that.

For a free service i doubt they would ever unlock that, and keeping that connection to the satellite for the time it takes to send a photo would be hard.
