In Invincible after Mark and Eve narrowly survive their first encounter with Conquest, they reunite in the hospital and later that night, Eve sneaks Mark into her house for some much-needed alone time
While in bed, Eve uses her powers to take Mark’s costume off and fold it neatly on the floor but we notice something is clearly off as the costume looks weirdly disfigured
Later we find out the cause of her powers acting up as Eve is on the toilet, crying, revealing a positive pregnancy test
But before she can have a proper conversation with Mark, he is called away to help in the first Viltrumite war
With no one else to confide in, Eve talks with her ex-boyfriend, William, and makes it clear she does not want a baby right now
But Mark only finds out what she does much much later when he returns home from the war
