Being an international dentist and applying to US dental schools can be quite confusing. Wish I knew about dentistry in US and some of these tips and tricks at the time. I learned it by going through this making mistakes, and finding guidance through seniors. I am trying to make this easier for people like you and me. As a dental student in USA, a great tip for international dentists would be to train your listening skills. It helps in understanding US accents and eventually helps in faster speaking ability as well. For this I try to listen to most videos or podcasts on multiple speed. Over a period of time I realized that listening/watching at 1.5 to 2x speed keeps me attentive about what is being spoken and helps me take in more information in less time.
