I hate to be that guy and I’m sure someone has already mentioned but “fuel and refuel” is a mistake. I think you meant to say “load” and “reload”.
Great list. Thank you for the consistent great content.

That's a great list. I like your broad sweep of what falls into the 'Metal' genre. I started listening to Heavy Rock and Metal in 1978 or so and was of an age to really enjoy and be influenced by NWOBHM. It was just 'Heavy Rock Music' to me. So that's really what my list is and it would probaly offend Metal purists but these albums certainly contributed towards the many aspects of Metal that we know today.
For me I would go with the following in no particular order: Iron Maiden - Piece of Mind, Deep Purple - In Rock, Motorhead - Ace Of Spades, Ozzy - Diary of a Madman, Van Halen 1, Rainbow - Rising, DIo - Holy Diver, Judas Priest - Screaming For Vengeance, Black Sabbath - Paranoid and Metallica - Ride The Lightning

Mine
10. Scorpions-Virgin Killer
9. UFO-No Heavy Petting
8. Grand Funk-The Red Album
7. Metallica-Ride the Lightning
6. Motley Crue- Shout at the Devil (the only MC album that I liked)
5. Ozzy-Blizzard of Oz
4. Black Sabbath-Paranoid
3. Van Halen- Fair Warning
2. AC/DC- Back in Black
1. Metallica- Master of Puppets

Like everyone here this is a hastily put together rankings based on what I listened to in those days with a genuine thought given to quality. There were many other cheesier albums that I liked and others that should be put on the list but my real list would be 90% Black Sabbath and Ozzy

Just to point out to the "That's not metal!" posters, back in the late 70s early 80s any band that consistently played loud distorted guitar and had a vocalist that screamed pretty regularly was considered heavy metal by the music press (and fans too, I guess). The crowd at an early 80s Kiss show was indistinguishable from the crowd at an early 80s Iron Maiden show.

Nazareth's "Hair of the Dog" was a surprisingly great "Heavy Metal" sounding record from a band not typically associated with "Heavy Metal"

Hi, just discovered your channel, thank you for posting this my friend. It was very enjoyable, we both agree that the best Maiden album is 'Piece of Mind' & Sabbaths' 'Master of Reality' was their pinnacle. However if AC/DC are considered "Metal" then I'm going for 'Highway to Hell' and would remove Kiss and replace them with either Queensryche - 'Operation Mindcrime' or Faith No More - 'Angel Dust' Would also choose 'Ride the Lightning' over the Black album. Thanks again.
