A small dive into dropsy in fish

I used methylene blue and epsome salt 30 min baths everyday for 2weeks and saved my fish

Yesterday my fish got dropsy suddenly and died today. Idk why, of the 3 escalar fish, she seemed the most healthy. The other 2 are doing ok.

It's like HIV to fish but if you have seen symptoms on the fish and treat it early, 70% of the fish will recover and 80% of it will happen again if you don't monitor MOSTLY the cleanliness of the water and etc. Because the anti-body of the fish is low. Thats what lot of people told me and sorry for my bad english 🙂

My black neon had it. I started with epsom salt baths, then Kanaplex, then Maracyn 2, then metroplex. Nothing worked, I had to euthanize with clove oil

Fish don’t experience pleasure or pain. Anything less taxonomically-derived than a reptile does not experience anything

Well you can also put Black clover in a fish tank and it will deplete the oxygen which is also pretty humane way to kill them

Or...just like, dont feed them for a while and see if that helps?
