Great prayers. Keep me in your prayers. I'm Antiochian Orthodox. But attend Greek Church. And even though I'm 38. I feel like I'm just starting my career in the entertainment industry. Recommited my life to the Orthodox Church 2 weeks ago. And I can't recommend it enough

A few years ago, I was celebrating Easter in an Orthodox church in NYC. After midnight service ended, I was the last one collecting my kulitch basket in the church, everyone else had gone downstairs to celebrate. A man walking by and seeing the church doors wide open walked in. He looked up at Christ on the ceiling and fell to his knees. He prayed like that before many icons. I can only imagine how he felt—walking home from somewhere, and finding Christ extending His hand to him, at 3AM in a church, filled with flowers, all alight, blessed with the joy and Holiness of Pascha on that night. ☦️ ❤

I’m Catholic but I really do appreciate the Orthodox Faith

I encountered Christ for the first time in a very very long time when looking at His icon at the head of the first Orthodox Church I visited a few weeks ago. I left with a peace that surpasses understanding. All bitterness, fear and confusion left my heart and mind. It made me a believer again after years of doubt. I have tried everything else to find peace in my mind and heart and nothing even touched what He did for me that day in Church.

In Serbia now. Beautiful Churches here and opened! Every day from 6am to 6pm. So different then in the Western culture. Beautiful icons. Scripture comes to life through icons.

I remember my second Divine Liturgy. The icon of Christ stared right into my soul, and I felt tears well up in my eyes. It was like the icon could see everything that was troubling me, holding me back, yet still gave me a reassuring feeling that there was hope, regardless of my numerous failures.
