He's punching in his comfortable form/technique, but unlike many comments I see thinking it's blazing speed and tiring, it's not. For a trained fighter, since he's not digging into the bag for 95% of it, it wouldn't tire a fighter who is used to the technique. It's more akin to half shadowboxing and half digging into the bag, which is more like semi-resting.

One example of fast punching where all punches dig into the bag is prime Mike Tyson's and Pacquiao's bag work, which would be more tiring. This would actually be a semi-rest (for example, when you do sprints and star jumps, and then you do a semi-rest by doing jumping jacks, this one is akin to a semi-rest).

He can train however he wants, but if only the title wasn't misleading.
