This weekʻs map features the Primoye Map which shows the fishing routes of Japanese fisherman in the Russian Far East that they were allowed to fish. This was so called the "Master plan" for Japanese fisheries. This led Japan eventually to become the largest producer and exporter of fish product in the world.
