How to Speed Up uTorrent Downloads (2024) 5X Download Speed

A tutorial on, how to increase the download speed of uTorrent in Windows 10 and 11. Potentially 5 to 10x speed.

Went from 3 MB/s (Megabytes, not Megabits), to 15 MB/s. Sometimes it will reach 28 MB/s, but it is rare to see that. Greatly appreciate the advice.

Impressive fix, at least for now it is seemingly working better or at least faster.
Downloading a 75gb file, was starting with 11h to now 2h.
What a suprise for sure. I did not change my Port, it was Auto-set at around 51000 so I left it there but followed the following steps one by one.

update: i just stopped and force started it. now its on 250kb max
update #2: when i restarted it with "start" option, now its on 300kb-500kb whats happening?

I just followed until advanced, it works for me. Side note, Pause the torrent and completely restart the torrent software.
