This Is Why Micah’s Horse Baylock Looks So FAMILIAR | Red Dead Redemption 2

This was actually something I put together right away when I first played the game back in 2018 as in anticipation for waiting for RDR2 release I played RDR1 religiously but in the lowest honor possible and I had the “dark horse”. Up until that point I always associated it with “Campos’ horse” from the movie 3:10 to Yuma. But as soon as I saw Micah riding him in RDR2 I knew he was bad news. That horse is only associated with trouble and evil character. Plus he was an A HOLE from the start regardless as if that wasn’t obvious enough. But I don’t see videos on the subject enough, so I thought I’d post for those out there who still maybe not know about it this really neat detail rockstar has now in both games #rdr2 #reddeadredemption #arthurmorgan

If that’s intentional, then that’s genius of Rockstar when it comes to a lot of details many of us might miss. As if the dark evil spirit of Micah came to haunt and curse John if his honor is at the lowest.

I always thought that the front of his horse resembled a skull since it's face is entirely white while the rest of his body is a darker color

Baylock is the only horse in camp that wont let you pat him

That’s why I get the White Arabian at the start of the game until the end — to symbolise Arthur’s high honour.

I had a glitch one time where I could ride Micah's horse and it was malnourished under the physique tab. Makes sense that Micah didn't care about Baylock

Really did us dirty with the horses in the Tumbleweed stable. Annoys me there's no Albino Arabian or Black Missouri Fox Trotter. I would use Baylock all day, everyday if I could.

I love Baylock! Whenever I do the companion glitch now and Micha shows up I snag his horse 😂 I love that similar horse in the first game too. It's the dark color and the markings I just love on animals.

Baylock is my favourite horse. Looks like the Grim Reaper. Suits Micah so well. Micah sounded somewhat affectionate to Baylock when he calls him during a mission. I like to think he at least loves his horse.

Mahogony Bay Tennessee walker is the best horse. He's the one who either witnessed you make your first kill, or first mercy when nobody else was around. That horse knows who Arthur is.

Such a damn beauty. The white shoes and white mask compliment the dark so well. Aside the Baylock, the palomino dapple and silvertail buckskin standardbreds are my personal favorites.

Oh yes i used to mount this horse in Rdr1 few years ago but i didn't know if it could be Baylock because i didn't know NOTHING about Rdr2 at the moment because it was only recently out at that time.
And i already saw that detail on the channel of a french guy named Vin's.

The legs are different between the horses. Micah's horse has white towards the bottoms of it's legs and the one from RDR 1 has a light brown/red colour towards the bottoms
